Greetings everyone ! New fellow artist here. I'm kinda new on the game art scene and I would like to show you a little work I did during a Sunday relaxing session. Your feedback is highly appreciated ! May you all stay consistently inspired for the rest of your days.
EDIT: 2nd video, behind-the-scenes hype video Start 2:20 for Bruce loosening up. Back muscle definition in particular. Arms states, tense to relax. https://youtu.be/GAYHrhf4KUc?t=140 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIzkc5ouE2E
That's the most interesting choice of t-pose I've seen o_O I have a feeling you might have issues with the shoulders distorting in a more relaxed/neutral pose. I loved that cactus scene, got me wishing for a roadrunner :D
An image would help, before and after, showing the error you see. If you want to move with a falloff influence, try Soft Selection. Relax is also a mainstay tool. Many people including myself swear by the 3rd party tool PolyUnwrapper.
A lot of what [HP] said rings true for me since moving to Seattle. Although I still love hanging out with friends and doing random stupid things, listening to music, general relaxing and going out with cute scene chicks.
READ THIS: Its not the end of the quarter so the whole thing about royalties is null. If they are getting their royalties - and we've no reason to assume they wouldn't - it would happen when the quarter ends, so April'ish. Relax about the royalties shenanigans, its typical fare.
man, proper meditation sounds so much more beneficial than just sitting in the dark and relaxing. Need to take it more seriously, but am motivated by the results I've learned w the mindfulness exercises. doesn't sound cheesy at all imo
Feels a little noisy to me right now, that's why I like the previous one a little better. Maybe make some details less prominent...? This could help relax the scene. (Edit: I'm talking about the stone wall texture ;) )
@Carabiner How do you straighten out? I used to relax them after, so sometime cause deformation. And do you mean the first uv bottom left, I overlapped some there, where won't shown in the back of the tower.
If your on 901 use the new rectangle relax tool. It will straighten your uv's in one click. Alternatively select all the vertical edges, set your centre to local and your axis to auto and scale inwards. Use the same settings on the horizontal.
