Yeah I totally agree. Can't zoom with tablet. Everything else is great. This space bar thingy to be able to zoom out temporarly seems good too. -

I also put a special foil on my screen. Don't trust wacom, their tablets are made out of plastic/glass, not diamonds, right? So, they will catch scratches. -

Silo is a good choice ;) In addition, you may consider learning ZBrush/Mudbox or maybe 3D Coat for high poly sculpting if you have access to a tablet. -

I'm assuming you're using a tablet with a pent that has buttons on it. You could map one of those buttons to shift and hold it when you want to smooth -

Since it is a bit different to draw on a tablet, I'd recommend using it whenever you can and draw with pen and paper for the rest of your time :poly121: ...sleep is for rookies... -
