Hey polycount I'm pretty new here and decided to through my hat into this to mainly to get motivated and just get a good project going. My plan for the this is to do a council chambers, that will include twelve simple seats for low members and the high councilors seat which will be more elaborate and showy. I plan on using…
Lets give this a try, I'm trying to bulk up my portfolio with realistic stuff before my visa expires and I have to head back to the states. Planning on using lots of tiling textures and masks that I'll generate through Zbrush and Photoshop. Once I've got the bulk of the environment put together I'll take a crack at…
Latest: Original Post: I'm going for an overgrown jungle temple with lots of hanging vines and foliage. I also want to incorporate gold elements for nice material contrasts. Not certain of how I'm going to lay everything out, but largest image on my ref board is the "feel" I want to accomplish.
I haven't got enough time to show all of the work, so I'll only post the viewport render in Substance Designer and the scene in Unreal at the end :) The spot The "platine" The floor of the room The back Amp The wall The throne scene The screen And the Throne !

i like the roof texture gives a nice feel to it, but i dont like the connection thingy (however this is called)to the wall it looks strange imo maybe tweak it or remove it completely.... i think it maybe should have a corner of 90 degrees in the middle so that it connects roof and wall evenly? anyways keep goin!
This looks fantastic mate. Your roof is looking so awesome now! You might have a few little tweaks to go. Eg the vertical beams look to small for the scale of the roof. Perhaps one day you could do a tutorial on hand painting for the les experienced members? And because this member is slightly jelly.
