Hi, I am a 3d modeller having 6 years 8 months of experience in cg industry. You can check out my blog http://devs3d.blogspot.com/ If interested mail me dev_586@yahoo.com
Im sad cause i have just 1,5 year experience and when i saw works of famous CG game artists a understand the my skil is about zero and i can nothing :(
I love it, i would love to work on cinematics (blur studios etc ...) more than video games. Looks like a cinematic model, really cool. EDIT: It was cool to see it's progression on CGS.
I had been taking CG Society/CGMA/Game Art Institute courses online. I am happy about all of them. So far, the online mentorship works the best for me.
I'm really not sold on this.. I honestly thought the CG was a bit underwhelming, especially the wide landscape shots. Who knows, maybe when a bit more information is released, I'll change my mind.
As above, increase the belly size, but also be sure to make him thrust the belly out more as well. Your drawing has a lot of attitude, don't lose that to the CG. Keep up the great work!
CG animation where a character - usually female, always skinny - does that exasperated forward-leaning arms-flapping-and-dangling gesture, that just makes everything look like Woody from toy story.
started working on an entry for the frazetta tribute on cg society Very early stage of blocking, started out with a poopy basemesh so i'm already a few subdivs to high to get some detail in the face
Thanks Xaltar, those cg chatters are done for! I also learned more in that month than I probably learned my entire time at school so far...man, college is for suckers haha
Hi I am looking for some good anatomy books to improve my sculpting. Any recommendations? I wanna buy :"Anatomy for 3D ArtistsThe Essential Guide for CG Professionals" by Legaspi Chris Anyone read it ? What are your opinions on it? Cheers !!
