@polypassion wow, thats a nice blockout allready! nearly an exact fit  Here is my blockout progress for the satellite dish. Starting from the bottom and working my way up.. Goal is to get as much done in Fusion 360 as possible.
We built a prototype for this using Kinect when I was working at Microsoft - it can work reasonably well if you're smart about it. Either way, this is a weird move given Oculus have their own controller in the works and the 360 pad isn't that great.
Well MS is Valves biggest competitor with their Windows Live games so Valve/Sony try to oppose that. Even with this absolutely retarded cross platform thing. They should do cross platform 360 - PS3 and MAC - WIN. Now that would be fun!
What CAD Program would you advise? I have used Autodesk Fusion 360 before. MoI3D? / Rhino / Sketchup... So Hardmesh performs worse than Modo Meshfusion since it does quite a nice job of connecting the geometry.
Support this shit! It's worth every penny! We used to play at my old studio during our lunch breaks. We'd connect 3 xbox 360 controllers and just do local co-op. Fun as hell! The wizard rules!
You sound like you're in a crisis of not having established a target platform. What generation/system do you want to target? PS3/360/WiiU can be grouped together, and you've got the current top of the chain with Xbox One/PS4. Decide on a platform group, and then research the rough kinds of specs you'd get; For example if…
anyone know when the release date for this is. it was supposed to be some time in November. i got sooo many xbox360 games I want to play. my 360 died a death a year or two back and I 'thought' stupidly that I could play the games on my xbox one straight away - what a pain
I created this prop as a means to learn some new software and workflows. Modeled in Fusion 360, Low-poly and UVs in Maya, Baking in Marmoset Toolbag 3, Texturing in Substance Painter Comments and critiques welcome, but I'm calling this one done so I can move on to my next project. :) model
Here's a WoW style sword that I've been working on. This is a concept from a weapon in Lich King, so I kinda went with the icy blue color scheme. The model weighs in at 376 polys which I know is high for WoW, but other than the polycount I wanna know what is working and what is not working. Thanks everyone!
This game is awesome, finally got to try it the other day. I use an xbox 360 controller as my pc gamepad and it works perfect, binding is easy and fast. I can use the back button instead of hitting esc as well. I recommend this game :)
