Made a night-time version of this island paradise from the summer now that we're in the cold winter months here in Canada - I have a bunch of breakdowns and the footage of the day night transition on my AS: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/9mO1ga
Typically, posting an honest attempt supporting a typed query will usually elicit a level of interest suggesting revision/s but however, just handballing the problem over for someone else to tackle cold, will get you 'nada', I'm afraid.
i like nsp a lot, when warm it's soft, when hot it's liquid und when cold it is hard enough to carve sculpey is kinda cool but fixed when baked andnkinda too soft when still working on it
A game artist tried posting why there are lowres textures in games and why its usually the environment that gets hit first, he was told to shut the fuck up. Entitlement! It's the new common cold, only a million times worse.
Ill be rocking pixelgent and polycount shirts, i also think a meetup outside gdc is a good idea, im taking one of my buddies and he is under 21, i dont want to leave him out in the cold.
I think the end of the wooden beams are too much of a different tone and the bricks are very chaotic too, colorwise. Not sure if UDK with lightmaps and realistic rendering fits this well, you might be better off with windwakeresque cel shading.
This is the concept art from blizzard website. I did not found any color reference, so I had look at other rune weapon in the same game, and finally choose the cold color tone as the major for diffuse map.
Look, I almost gave up on you. I started working with that Ukrainian artist, you know, the one who looks like Elvis? And I moved to the Ukraine, and it was cold and everyone had guns and smelled like soup.
I Wish I could tell you but Im stuck in very cold Sweden, but Orlando should be pretty warm this time of year right? If it was me though I would have gone to Disney world for sure! :D
I'm seeing you've changed the outdoor lighting, switching to a lavender colored light and sky, opposed by your concept, which uses a warm light. I liked how it contrasted the cold cavern light from those holes.
