Taking part in a 3D modeling competition that is being hosted by a CG school I'm attending. And decided to work off of this concept by Marcin Basta. Goal is to have this finished environment rendered in sketchfab by the 29th of February. Going to make this in a Stylized workflow.
This was the very first thing I did when this feature was introduced. :) Whoever is responsible for the decision to choose that particular map, when they could have chosen ANY map in the world, should not be involved in the CG industry.
Something I've noticed, low poly games seem to rely heavily on pre-rendered cg or paintings. Also has anyone ever noticed how hard it is to light really low poly things?
Yeah, this stuff is awesome. I love that fountain and that mech cathedral piece. I remember geeking out over it when you had an interview for CG Channel or something like that several years back.

Hey looking very nice so far! You need to break up the symmetry though, its making it look quite plain and cg, asymmetry will definitely help this. Keep it up, looks promising!
I see.. Thanks a lot! I think you guys totally didn't like my grading work. This one is without any colour correction - pure CG rendered layers and some noise.
