Hi! This error is extremely rare and we´ve only encountered it once or twice before. Did something happen to your computer before this error message started to appear or was it out of the blue? So sorry about this!
Ok, I'm getting this error when I try to run the script: # Error: NameError: file c:\...\ysvCurveTweakerCtx.py line 67: global name 'getInVewObjs' is not defined # I'm on 2016 ext 2 in case that matters.
Those aren't shadow artifacts, but smoothing errors. Long thin triangles aswell as Ngons will create this on curved/angled surfaces. Join the verts from either side to form quads and the errors should go away.
I Use Maya 2019 and when I want to use quixel color I get this error # Error: ImportError: file E:\software install\Quixel SUITE 2.3\colors\main.py line 1: No module named PySide #
Hi, I have been having these errors in my normal map when I use decimation in Zbrush and bake. I don't know if its the triangulation or the distance from the surface to the high poly mesh. (it is a rock) Here is the UV template The Normal Map with the errors circled
Damn, another error now that i put that .dll: libgimp 2.0-0.dll missing. Again just to be sure, i'm in gimp 2.8/plug-ins folder where i put the exe and the first error .dll.
*Workshop is giving me this error right now - "Sorry! An error was encountered while processing your request: That item does not exist. It may have been removed by the author." Will update with workshop link when/if things start working*
The error message is purely due to missing vertex color data. The rest of it is likely projection distance errors. As a starting point use 0.01 for forward and 0.5 for rear, if that doesn't work you're probably best off using a cage.
Hum, my uv's islands are not connected, but the space between each island is maybe too low; generally when I get errors about uv's island, I get errors in maya. Here a picture with bigger resolution:
I'm getting an error when trying to load substances into Max 15, I can load the substances that come with it, but not my own. The error message is 'Failed to load substance' Is this because of the PBR set up isn't compatible?
