nah, just have more confidence. If that simple question threw you for a loop he probably thought you'd have a nervous break down in the middle of the lunch-rush. Have you tried aiming a little higher? You should be able to snag some sort of junior IT job.
I don't think there's any that hurt my art, everyone let's me get on with it (for now..). Sure maybe if I was left to my own devices in uni I would be better than I am now, but I wouldn't go back and swap that if I had the choice.
@ jgreasley , sounds great thanks for the answer! one of the things I love in mari is the ability to use multiple versions of an asset and being able to swap between one and another... this is really useful in production for assets/characters that have different topologies, i.e clean, damaged, super damaged.. etc
wow, thanks for all the comments guys! I swapped out the kinston SSD for a crucial one (256gb) as it was about £75.I also upped to an i7 and upped the graphics card anyway. Switched out the noctua cooler for the one recommended too. Thanks for all your help again!
Here are the submissions, click the images to go to the workshop. :) Edit: or maybe not, for some reason after refresh the links are swapped by the links to the image, so here we go in a more traditional way... http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=692011148…
And this is the only way I'm gonna be able to get this come next year? That's rediculous. I've been using Max for years, and this really makes me want to stop. I'd swap to something different, but having to learn new interfaces after this long isn't something I look forward to.
I've made some adjustments to the overall layout of the scene. Currently I am working on a computer desk to place in the scene, and some plates/silverware. Still have a lot of placeholders (like the fireplace) to swap out, just making slow and steady progress as I figure out UE4.
We almost didn't hire poop back when he first came to interview at Mythic, just because of his name, but once people actually saw his work it swayed their minds. The 8th floor seems so much quieter without you Poop! Congrats on Gun!
Holy shit, where are the ooze dripping vaginas with bio mechanical tubes rammed in them? Where is the swat team dudes? And most of all, where is my have-to-pack-every-square-inch-with-shit art design? Don't these guys know what a game is supposed to look like?
I hope it's similar to The Sims face editor, which was also standalone and released for free. If enough people enjoy making their creatures and get hyped up about seeing them in game, it'd be easier to sway them towards buying Spore. Could be a great viral (the irony!) tool.
