Hi, so this is my second bigger project. I recreated a scene from the game "Mafia: The city of lost heaven" aaand i need to know your opinions. thanks everyone! Modelled in 3DS Max 2015, textured with Quixel suite 2.0, Rendered in UE4
I understand that you are referring to the fact that the Instanced Static Mesh feature did not exist in versions prior to Unreal Engine 4, specifically UDK 3 and earlier. In UE4 version 4.10, it was already possible to manually instantiate one or several meshes, although this method might not have been well-known in 2015.…
Armor detracts. Lose the armor. Link survives on distinct silhouette and color scheme, and the armor would just make him look like fantasy solder #415 instead of the young elf man with a sword and board.
It was posted on IGN: http://www.ign.com/videos/2015/07/09/silent-hill-4-the-room-remade-in-unity-is-very-pt Some feedback would be nice, since we want to improve our skills! :)
I tried that but it breaks the tiling then. In my brain it should work but I guess it doesn't. I ended up just doing 90 instead of 105, with help from fr00g1e's link. Thanks for all the help!
Check out the Particle Age map, might help you. http://help.autodesk.com/view/3DSMAX/2015/ENU/?guid=GUID-11043B8B-9E7A-41D6-B468-20629D8DC969 Also, Materials and Mapping in Particle View
Just a quick notice, Radially got experimental support for 3ds Max 2015/2016 and a couple of bugfixes since the first release. Experimental support lacks only one feature - icons on pie menu buttons.
thanks for the fix :) do you think you could add "cut faces" for when polygons next to each other are selected (to not interfere with the bridge tool) http://blenderaddonlist.blogspot.de/2015/01/addon-cut-faces.html
It deosn't really look like what a curvature should look like indeed, you have barely any value above 0.5. Why wouldn't you use the curvature baker inside Substance Painter?
Heh, Seknoex bit me to it. ;) Try this as well I think these links might be covered by Seknoex post though. http://multiplayernetwork.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=515&pid=1375&st=0&#entry1375 Alex
