The document as you see it isn't at it's actual size, probably because it wont fit in the viewport. YOu'll cycle thru the layers of polygons if you keep clicking in the same spot. With the first click it tries its best to figure out what you want, the second click it goes one layer under it, and so on for each additional click. Sometimes you have to cycle all the way though to get back on top. sucks I know but thats how… -

3DS Max problem...
Okay, while working on my DomWar entry the mesh started to behave weirdly. I can only select the mesh from the elbow to the wrist... Makes it difficult to work with.. And then there's that little white dot.. It's not a vertex and doesn't change size when I zoom but it's part of the mesh but not selectable. It disappears… -

ya, max navigation is terrible. So buggy too. Again, it could just be CAT, but I feel the nav is Max. Zooming it on a far object tends to make the zoom increments so small that you cant do anything. or you go to zoom out a tiny bit and each roll-click of the mouse wheel will zoom WAAAAY out so that you cant see anything… -

It's actually incredibly vexing because Picasa for one actually has the capability (all of its functions are smoothly animated, even zooming), it just... doesn't have any keyboard shortcuts for panning. It has keys for flipping, black-and-white filter and emailing, but not the simple act of moving…
