Do you have multiple monitors? Max has some WEIRD bugs with multi-monitor setups, such as windows permanently vanishing on clicking the titlebar unless you drag until the settings folder is nuked. Refraction in ue4 is a screen space effect afaik It's messing around with a picture of what's visible behind the transparent surface, not bending light rays to show you things you would not otherwise be able to see. brightness of your screen can seriously increase eye strain. Try using the brightness settings of flux keep in mind it changes your screen color by default so if you are doing color relevant work just us the brightness settings. you could also try gunnars but I found them a waste of money, some people love them though. -

hi man, I'm not sure about the mirrors edge loading screen animations.. I look at them and basically think 'copied loading screen anim' rather than 'cool implementation of the anims in 3d'.
