I really am intrigued by Abby's design process and I'm looking into more articles and case studies from Naughty dog to understand their design decisions. They did release this documentary about the game, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC3C7GMMfDU So I'm going to watch it today and then reply more in depth, since the…
I like The wrench. I was thinking about modeling it, but do you think you could do a perspective on where the battery thing is so I know how it should look outside of a side view?
So this ruling was in Swedenland right? So this applies to... Sweden only? Can't ZeniMax try to use other courts in different countries to stop them selling it under Scrolls in those countries? I'm confused to how this works to be honest. It's like Trenches being called that in the US but not in Europe.
You should be able to copy the weights from one vert and paste it to the other. like Monster pointed out if the weights are identical it will behave the same. In the skin modifier click the wrench button and use the copy/paste functions. If it still tears apart, there is something seriously weird going on.
Good read indeed, specially liked how Paul Pepera draw this image of war when it comes to crunches, and I quote; "when crunch hits it’s your fellow artists that will be there in the trenches with you". Thanks for sharing Adam.
Thanks for the critique. I was perplexed on the wrench shape so left it at the current setup till I could figure out a better topology setup. I'll make some updates to the mesh and make another post here.
Cool idea, it looks like something that might work or just explode and kill everyone in a trench :P I like the heat shield that protects your legs, reminds me a little of german WW1 Lobster armor.
i keep the allan wrench used to tighten it close by so i can always just move it into place and tighten it up a bit. i usually just pull it out from its place and work with it on an angle and kinda resting on my desk so it isn't bad at all.
Cool stuff, love those helmets... not often you come across this kinda knight, either. I know you're pretty done, but "Excalibur" would be a great reference movie for this kinda stuff, lots of fun helmets and armor all banged up and drenched in mud and blood. Yum.
Yeah i went do to grab some indian food 3 blocks away and by the time i got there i was drenched. I have AC in my apt i think, but have no idea how to get it turned on...
