Project finished! :) https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lkR1e =============================== =============================== =============================== Hi! I'm working on Fokker D.VII right now. It is supposed to be highly-detailed and prepared to use with Unreal Engine. I would be showcasing it in a simple…
Hey all! I have been working on an environment scene and this is one of my hero assets which I would like to showcase in detail later on. I would like to have some feedback on it, particularly the topology. What else could I do to make this asset look better and game-ready?
Hi 3D Art Showcase! This is the concept art I started out by doing. I went for like a wind waker mixed with snowy deep forest-sweden and vikings basically. I used photoshop and a wacom tablet to paint it. Hope you like it! Jo Holm
I'm really enjoying your models and presentation, like others have said I'd make more than guns, really showcase you can fit more rolls, also I'd recommenced brightening your high poly renders a tad. Just me.
Good read indeed, some grammatical errors here and there, but nothing which I didn't understand. If you wouldn't mind, you could send the text to me, so I could fix the grammar up a bit for showcase on your site. Let me know.
You could showcase an LOD alongside the current higher polycount version. Have you checked out this kind of method? https://blendernpr.org/lets-talk-about-normals/ Seems they can get away with fairly chunky cards, since the normals are edited to be lit properly.
I don't think Train2Game is necessarily a scam, it's just the typical crappy for-profit diploma mill correspondence course thing / recruiters paid on commission. (I mean, look at the "student gallery" on their site. Surely they would've picked better stuff to showcase if they were entirely fake?)
I dont think we are. I just think artists use reality as a yard stick reference, otherwise there is no way to explain the range of styles we see in the '3D art Showcase & Critiques' forum. But, reality is still the only place you can get a decent sandwich.
I don't believe there are junior positions at ubisoft, or atleast I've never seen them advertised. There is the ubisoft NXT showcase that claims to hire junior artists, though the hires have a variety of skill levels so not entirely sure. Could you post some of your work?
