Are there any options for manual color calibration in the service menu? First,turn off the power. Holding the "menu" and "+" key turn the power back on. Press the "-" key. -

What service pack is this? Tried to recreate your problem by mimicking your actions as I was intrigued. Can't recreate this issue. I'm running 2015 SP4 64-bit. -

I used it on a simple sphere. Maybe try another model and see if it works. Also, make sure you have updated 3ds Max to the latest service pack.
