The rock texture on your pedestal/platform a little too small I think. It looks like a mud sculpture at the moment. For the lighting. Decide what story the scene is telling and light it a little more dramatically in that respect. It will push it out of realistic, but will showcase a storytelling talent. -

Congrats Rockley. Always great to see success stories. I suggest making a thread in 3D Showcase to ask for portfolio critique, and specifically point people to which webpage you want them to evaluate, since you have a lot of links there in your sig. -

I don't mean to high jack the thread but I agree with what McGreed says. As for DropOfTime, if you go looking in the Polycount Showcase threads you'll see they've put up their final tri counts so you can use those as benchmarks.
