finally got some time to get back into some personal 3d again. hopefully the last restart of this lady however quite interesting to see the development over the years, as I've redone her face about the same time every year. Throwing in a sculpt from 2016 too, just for reference
yes on the FOX engine... I agree looks very impressive! But I hear the game won't be finished till early 2016? :( Not sure how long till the next Metal Gear but I am hoping a public version of FOX will not take as long ( as well as a good localization team for English documentation )
You'll want to link to the image directly rather then to the page that's hosting it. ie; Currently you are linking to http://orangedishes.deviantart.com/art/Fiat-Coupe-Wip-1-507241354 but you should be linking to http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2015/015/b/0/fiat_coupe_wip_1_by_orangedishes-d8dzxxm.png I hope this helps!
Check your renderer, RTT only works with Standard, it won't work with their new default cloud render 360 thing. Link: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/3DSMax/files/GUID-80560237-F60A-48E2-B23C-FAE67AF0167C-htm.html
HEY PETE!! yeah that really isn't a texture, its just different material groups and a multi-sub shader. Anyway, the mesh is 4016 tris or 2190 quads, with a few tris, I never am sure if people are counting tris or their quads for their polys, so I count tris just to be safe.
You've hit a very common issue. Try researching 'pose space deformers' and it'll show you how to setup multiple blendshapes https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/maya/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/Maya/files/GUID-00699C13-8CA1-450C-937D-57C7B3DFD8C6-htm.html

So, Here are some videos of SprintR at GDC 2016. People who tried it became proficient in less than a minute, and were able to walk around environments, and play an FPS/Driving demo in VR hands free. https://youtu.be/nlEvTScAMdM?list=PLt3AcR7MnLTRMNXit_ZPV31s5wn6wAKzL…
Yep. Turn on Bone Edit Mode in bone tools. It will allow you to move the joint around without it affecting the other joints. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/3DSMax/files/GUID-D7849466-3C9C-4098-87C1-F84ACEA70F64-htm.html
What I find interesting is that games are getting real enough now that people have to take a second look to make sure it is a screenshot instead of a photo. Pretty cool really. I remember this shot looking awesome 6 years ago. http://media.pc.ign.com/media/011/011640/img_1277939.html
