Solved: Suite ddo & 3do Super Slow (Memory Utilization always under 30 %, CCPU under 1%)
Hey guys, at work im having an issue where the suite is super almost ungodly slow especially for the hardware we are using. It take 1 minute to change anything , and i have to wait. especially in the mask editors. Anytime i try to move anything especially in 3d0 it almost freezes and windows goes white like its crashing… -

You can add layers manually to the photoshop document. So say you want to add a sticker to a certain material, select that material in ddo and it'll select that layer group in the ps document (whatever map is active, say albedo). Then you can add your image, and the dropdown menu in ddo has a 'copy layer to all maps'… -

How to extrude shape with sharp edges from curved surface?
I found that it is problem to extrude for instance cube like shape from sphere. I tried different solutions: 1. after extrusion, add supporting edges to have that extrusion with sharp edges. - this will break the shape of the object from which i did the extrusion 2.
