i would go further than that... uv the centre circle, a 1/4 of the next bit... and maybe an 1/8 of the detail around the edge starting from the line half way out... then break up the tiling/model with the odd a-symmetric detail
Works for me, my condolences to the artistic community. I'll try not to open pandora's box again. In light of recent posts we've either been trolled in genius fashion or the political wheel has simply spun full circle, hard to tell these days.
yup, definitely window's tablet stuff, it's all in the control panel. it would do the circle thing and even lag your strokes and catch on the screen.. sooooo fucking annoying. just turn all that shit off like pior said, that's your culprit
One thing that will really help with using the wacom is to set rotation to "circular crank" in the preferences. This changes the way you rotate so you rotate objects by drawing circles on the tablet. It's much better than the other way when you're using a wacom.
read thru most of them and yeah i can see where the lawsuits comefrom, also a lot of that i don't think of as art.. "yes well, i cut up a bunch of KFC boxes an glued the bits into a circle." deep art there pal.
Thanx guys for the nice comments! Sorry for the late reply! @ rooster: it's a simple maxwell render. there is a bit of bloom that gives a hint of realism to it. the settings are almost default. @pliang: those are the circles from the mudbox brush. @charger: yea...it's a chicken guy ..or something like that
Potato cubes with a little olive oil and tomato sauce in a pan to give it a little jazz. Then some grilled chicken breast. and to top it up, some balsamic vinager circles. !!! SHAZAM! if you like to cook, put some pics of dishes that you have made.
Hello I just unwrapped a model, how is this looking, circled red is symmetric.. can I overlap symmetrical parts? how close does the overlap need to be? is there a good method for overlapping? is there a good method for using up as much space on the texture map as possible? thanks!!
So I haven't done this in quite a while isn't there some way to extrude a nurbs circle along a spline and have the tessellation be higher in the corners and low in the straight parts? I've tried a combination of all the tessellation settings and can't figure it out.
My brief two year stint of college is over. I feel like I've come full circle, and even though I accomplished a great deal in a short amount of time, the thought that 'the one-eyed man is king in the valley of the blind' steals most of the victory away. I've learned that success is action through ownership of oneself, not…
