I know polyhertz has provided the best solution... I found an interesting solution while trying to force another part of a modifier ui to update (when pressing a toolbar button) ( CurrentMod = modpanel.getCurrentObject() theModifier_ID = modPanel.getModifierIndex $ CurrentMod ($.modifiers[theModifier_ID].enabled = NOT…
If your mesh has overlapping UVs and you're using lightmaps this WILL happen. Either make sure your UVs don't overlap and fit in the 1:1 tile or set the lightmap resolution to 0 in the mesh editor which'll fall back to vertex lighting (not so great) If you want repeating textures but to keep the UVs in the 1:1 tile, do…

Otherwise create plane and using an aim constraint with these settings: aimConstraint -offset 0 0 0 -weight 1 -aimVector 0 0 -1 -upVector 0 1 0 -worldUpType "vector" -worldUpVector 0 1 0 -skip x -skip z CAMERA GEOMETRY;
I've tested Corona, it does not support IOR < 1. Even though you can plug a bitmap in the IOR input, it looks like it's stuck to 1. The ior is mandatory for the conversion.. :/ In vray, the values bellow 1 represents 1/ior, allowing users to input a texture. Maybe you could ask the devs for that ? :) I'm downloading the…
Can't create Combination targets in the Shape Editor in Maya. This is what was in the console. doCombinationShapeCreate 1 0 4 R_LidLower_CTR; // Error: file: C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2019/scripts/others/doBlendShapeAddTarget.mel line 66: Error: Invalid transform name for transform space target. // There is no…
The front window is also more rounded on its corners in the concept than you have it in the model currently, the cherry is larger as is its stem, and the cone is a lot less tapered at the bottom as well. Also, I'm thinking Vitor is right with the test being similar to current next-gen racing game specs. Also let us know if…
mLichy: Whoa, didnt you just start doing maxscript recently? Nice work so far, your way ahead of me :P Edit: Threw together something that would work on single or multiple verts/edges/faces. It moves the actual pivot to the selected components averaged location. Run "$.pivot = curObjPos" to go back to the previous pivot at…
I don't know mel but a wild stab at it would go like this: if (`checkBox -q -v randScale` == 0) { $getScaleMin = 1; $getScaleMax = 1;} EDIT: On second thought though if these variables are strings wouldn't the values need to be enclosed in quotes? like this: if (`checkBox -q -v randScale` == 0) { $getScaleMin = "1";…
I've been having this issue between blender and Unity. I think the disconnect is in Unity. Perhaps someone can shed some light on this little problem. I set up blender to work in metric and I created a reference in blender to be 1.8m (6ft) tall. In blender it appears as shown below. It's dimensions and scale are all…
