since bristle's weapon is stone maul, no matter how your weapon model looks it will still have stone maul sound effects ingame. I suggest that you make maul or something blunt instead of sword.
Hey! Got some problems with my model, and could use some help with it... (ignore the human, it is just there for scale) the thing is that I want to add stones to the arms, but don't really feel like modelling alot of stones individualy, so is there any other way of doing this?
Thanks guys! So, I toned down the normal map and brightened the spec map, hopefully it looks look more like metal and less stony. Here's one of the references I used.
The stonework isn't right. 1. Mirroring as mentioned above is pretty obvious 2. The stone does not follow the top of the window arches (look at some reffs for how windows are set in stone walls. Otherwise it looks OK
Coll stuff man :) I do believe that the stone rock wall needs more of a dirt base, so that the stones looks like they'r in the dirt. Right now most of them looks like they'r floating.
All of the edges are rather sharp. Stone blocks, especially rough stones, tend to have a beveled edge. The edges also tend to become softer over time; some of these churches have been standing exposed to the elements for centuries.
Nice condescending tone there. How fucking typical. And Bush STOLE the election in 2000, why wouldn't he do it again in 2004? Fool me once shame on ... shame on ... fool can't be fooled again
I really like the stone work on the window, PaulH. There's a real sense of weight to the stones, the uneven wall surface makes it a very interesting design, and not too cluttered. The repeated motif from the floor tiles is a nice touch, too!
Here is a tilable stone path texture I am working on now. The texture is far from finished and I think it needs more detail on the top surfaces of the stones. Could really use some pointers. Thanks in advance.
Looks pretty good but the metal edge doesnt look like metal at all, it looks like its made out of stone. The "hammer" part is gold (?) on the concept but youve made look like stone just like the edge.
