I'd check the unity store to see if you can find anything there. If not you may have to use one of shaders that come with Unity or make your own with Shaderlab. For simple car paint, I'd look for anything with cubemapped reflections with fresnel falloff, and colored phong specular with optional specular mask.
To echo some of the above : - Be excellent at creating highpoly models, both sculpted and as manually crafted geo - Be excellent at creating ingame meshes - Be excellent at UVs and baking. - Also pick a 3D CAD software like Fusion, Moi3D or Plasticity. And then things will vary from one project to another. Honestly not…
maybe like this? make a cylinder, make a sphere, set to 44 snap the center of your sphere to the top of the cylinder delete the bottom half of the sphere and top cap of the cylinder. combine the sphere and cylinder. select the verts where they should connect and weld them. select the top cap of the sphere/cylinder that…
Hey thanks for your insight! I am currently working on the ending part (it was still in blocking)! Lip sync nor facials havent been touched yet so it's still blocky. One of my friends felt she didnt seem natural enough so I'm correcting some gestures here and there! For the audio set up, I'm not sure what I can tell you…

Mari Indie (http://store.steampowered.com/app/433930/ ) is also a good option for hand painted texturing (especially if you cant afford 3D Coat), however it is not nearly as…
any ideas, this is so i can cut and weld normal mapped peices which fucks stuff up at diaganol corners, now if the cut tool kept the normal from the surface pre-cut then thing would be rosie, any ideas, tools, plugins workflows etc... thanks in advance
The diffuse looks quite nice, although i can see an obvious seam on the top of the bat that needs fixing. The specular and normals look somewhat horrifying... Put some more love into them, did you keep all your layers for your diffuse? If you did it shouldn't be to hard to create a nicer spec than the one you have now from…
someone aught ta cast a lightening spell on that old thread, then we can post pictures My Japanese friends think I'm fat. If people are really getting obese, then it's gonna cost the american public billions in tax.
Hey Maya users, Im having an issue which i cant figure out how to solve, somehow my multi cut tool isn't working correctly, it no longer snaps to vertices, I can tell when the behavior changes when the first point is orange. Has anyone experienced this? Know of any fixes?
