i might not have understood everything correctly but with the Z axis checked it no longer goes beyond its original size, problem now is that i cant use box alpha for my brushes :( , any way to work around this?
have you checked if the uv-vertices are welded? click-select a single one and move it, see if the geo is still held together at all. in Z there's a setting tool->im/export/mrg (uv coords) that may need to be ticked.
Hey guys, I've been trying to make just a simple folded towel in Z but everytime I render out the normal map I get these weird flat areas, like the shape is being clipped or something. Anyone know what is causing this?

Currently working on an idea I had for a stylized skate park to probably end up being rendered in UE5 or something. I've been trying some different things like instead of having a cylindrical rail on the top edge of the ramp, a more square like one. I modeled out a bunch of different pieces to be put together but before I…
Hey there When you're in Unwrap UVW and under face subobject is it possible to frame/zoom your view on your selection? I don't get why hitting "Z" (Zoom extents selected) works on everything else but not in the unwrap uvw modifier.
go to brush , samples, spotlight projection and turn it off ( if you have spoltlight turned.on ) I put all my reference on spotlight and then toggle off spoltlight projection maybe you pressed z by mistake?
But even everything is fine with the scale and the symmetry and the pivot, this dumb pop-up appears when you try to dynamesh an object with SpotLite(suddenly!) is turned on. Just hide it by pressing Shift+Z and then dynamesh the subtool.
