@gnoop for sure! I've found the same, leverage procedural stuff for quick results but polish there is brutal, it's just so much easier to finalize in ZBrush. I'm usually sending things back and forth. I really enjoy starting tileables with sculpted heighmask chunks from zbrush. Then I'll usually have to paint stuff out.…
I am retopoing an model in Maya and I am running into a problem. My acutal model went by fine but the dress has this weird black spot in the middle. I can not retopo in this black spot and it's in the middle of this dress Here is a picture
If I edit an OBJ after importing it into another scene, the model becomes oddly deformed. The smoothing groups make appear that way at least. What am I doing wrong? Perhaps I should uncheck optimize normals? Does it have something to do with the precision value at 4?

I've recently extended my animation timeline from the standard 100 frames, to a little over 240. The animation rendering finishes the avi file, but doesn't complete the full timeline, even when I have "Active Time Segment" Any thoughts?
