Nah it doesn't zoom in and out like crazy, thank god. It shakes like crazy, the cursor when you put the stylus close to the tablet wyen you are just about to paint. It also doesn't draw or paint normally while it does this. It just doesn't want to draw an arc for example. The problem seems to go away if I zoom in if I'm…
I guess you're zooming to an odd multiple? For example 133% instead of 100% or 67% instead of 50%. Any time it's not an even division (50%, 25%, 12.5% etc) it will have to drop odd amounts of pixels which results in artifacts like you see here. This is most noticeable on greyscale gradients since you can essentially end up…
Thanks for the feedback. For the infinite smoothness I was referring to, an example would be making a sphere, then zooming in really close. If this sphere is a Nurbs object, then no matter how close you zoom in, the sphere will be displayed as a smooth curved surface at render time. If this sphere is a finely triangulated…
@haiddasalami, thanks for the link I'll go take a look yeah I am kinda getting used to marking menus... I usually have most of the stuff mapped to hotkeys in xsi and 3ds max. But maya uses a lot of marking menus for stuff. I ll got to get used to. @throttle kitty, yes I wasn t aware of, its kinda smart to have it like…
I can zoom in and out using the wheel on the mouse, but the zoom seems random like 200.35% or 311.5%, is there any way to lock the zoom to 100% increments like using the actual zoom tool?
Hi Guys, the improvements to the function graphs in Substance Designer 5.1.0 are massively useful and make the development much easier. I particularly like that custom function nodes now show their icon in the graph. The only issue I have with that is the resolution. The standard nodes are clearly vector graphics, that…
Daz, There is a canvas/document zoom, and then there is like...viewport zoom. Are you using the +/- keys to zoom or the alt-click-release alt-drag to zoom thing? Because, 1 will pixelate, the other will not.
Avoid these "SLR Sized" point and shoot cameras like the plague. They are expensive, just as big and heavy as a dSLR, but everything about them is totally inferior, the features you get out of a $400 fake-slr are little better than a $150 compact point and shoot camera. You get a super tiny sensor, which is terrible for…
Looking at these together it might a wishlist, but I want to be sure that there aren't a few .ini's that control where things appear, or how things act, etc. 1) Is there a way for the UV relax tool to remember settings between sessions? IE: Face Angle instead of Edge Angles. Can you make it appear in the same place on…
Rite now i have a 3.2 megapixel canon powershot S1 IS with a 10x optical zoom, and let me telly you, dont be fooled by megapixel count. I was a bit worried when i baught it but after playing around for a while i've come to the conclusion that its not the MP but the zoom. I've done tons of texture gathering with it without…
