Gamedev.net used to be good, but I think its gone downhill now. Tigsource has some good info. Another thing to try is to the respective language or engine to which you are programing. Unity udk, java, c# or whatever. -

This is how it is with everything, though. Not just the direct social issues in politics, but the economic and geopolitical ones too -- nobody thinks it's worth the effort to actually learn up on economics or history, they just pick a side and worship their respective talking heads. -

Ungh it's been near 30 all week here at 85% humidty, humidex says it feels like 36 and I agree. Oh those are 86 and 96 respectively. My irish blood prefers cold and rainy days. -

I have seen several Ads for online art/technical schools offering 3d/gameart programs. I am curious if any of these are any good and respected by people in the business coupled with a strong portfolio? And if anyone can point me in the direction of one that is, if any. Thanks -
Textures showing up black in maya (viewport and render)
For reference, I exported textures from SP using the Arnold (standard surface) preset, then used the Substance to Maya plugin to import them to maya.
