Looking good, but I would also make the hinges at the back stronger. The size of the hinges should be bigger for a chest of that size and it's hard to think those small screws would hold on to the wood if one would try to force the lid open. Could the hinges support the weight of the lid well when the chest is open?
I did a rough high poly base then imported to zbrush to tweak some areas (the ring) as well as sculpt the grip and the cloth on the ring. @Hawt I think we should be able to modify the design a bit. Just to the point of colors and small silhouette changes. Maybe make the ring a bit bigger or smaller.
