Hey Polycount! I created this procedural material in Substance Designer. I'd like to say every last bit of it was there but I used one bitmap for the fingerprint roughness/albedo. I posted a more detailed breakdown over on my Artstation here! Love to here what you guys think!
Stylized wood parquet inspired by Versailles and parisian palaces. For now I made two different patterns and I'm still working on it to make it fully procedural from custom Black and White input. 100 % Substance Designer, rendered in Marmoset. In substance designer, when you hover over a an expanded node, I'm used to seeing a label that tells me what each input and output correlate to. At the moment, it's not showing me that. I'm assuming I hit something that disabled the previewer but would love to know what stroke that is that retoggles the feature.
Started a handpainted style cliff today in Substance Designer today. Should wrap up tomorrow. You can download the sbsar here: http://substance.arvinmoses.com/product/cliff-v-05/ Also got featured on cgchannel! Yay! http://www.cgchannel.com/2015/01/download-five-free-substance-procedural-materials/
So, this is my first time doing a material in substance designer or messed with any kind of node system to make textures. Any thoughts, feedback will be gladly appreciated. Just want to know if Im going in the right direction.
Hello. I started to burn mesh maps in substance painter and noticed that the edges on the low poly model did not look right. What could it be caused by? Did I do something wrong with the model itself or is it a matter of bake?
Hey there, lately I've been experimenting with inputting hand drawn animation into Substance Designer and seeing what kind of effects I can create from just a simple input. You can find the original input animation on Artstation. Hope you enjoy. Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/OoyLWg
Hi, I'm trying to use substance painter as a my one stop texturing and baking tool but I'm having real issues with an arrow head. I'm using a cage and it looks like the rays are missing the low poly? I did a test bake in xnormal and I get a great bake. The same in the new handplane baker. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
