2.5 mil. seems pretty high for UVs. Have you tried ZRemesher or any kind of retopology (not Decimation) for retopology and then reprojecting the polypaint onto multiple subdivisions?
Quick update, some wires some swatches done in like 50 minutes and some polypaint done in around 8-10 hours with breaks and procrastination here and there
Polypaint is fun...how come nobody told me? Messing around in Photoshop with Zbrush renderpasses. Not final by any means, but thought I'd give you a taste.
started polypainting the face and filling in some colors. If anyone has any suggestions on better colors to use for clothing and such or any other comments I'm open to them.
The LD is already creating environments with the assets. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, I've been planning on learning polypainting for a while now so I'll probably do that.
