So I've been trying to make a model for the game Left 4 Dead 2 and I failed. So I was wondering if anyone could help me making a model for the game. 3dmax - Can not render to texture
Probably you had such problem before but I can't find the solution now. I have couple of objects (hi and lopoly) and sometimes when I want to bake AO or normals from hipoly, click 'Render to texture' and click 'Render' - nothing happens :/ no Im sure that all my settings are right, becouse I have no problems with other… -

i dont know about maya so cant really say anything there. and i dont know how much you know about biped, but is such a powerful tool - no tech headaches, easily reuse animation, mix animations etc etc etc. (its really made for those kind of tasks youre describing - small team, small budget, not much prodction time).… -

I know nothing of UE, is there a Performance Profiler you can use, to show where the slow down is occurring?... other than that if it's the shaders then replace them with something standard... if it still persists then it's geometry or lighting etc if not add them back in one at a time see how this effects performance.… -
