Hey, here's an update. Added some more detail in to the armor with a second layer under the main armor and some straps/a couple pouches. Also added the sword holder on his right shoulder, the sword is just a place holder for now. As always comments and critiques are welcome!
Really Really like 5 mask and full armor: the whole look of "war master" is greeeat. Anyway 3 catches my eye , I think because her hair and the values of the "belt", and the fact that has more balance in terms of "skin / armor". Great job!
I REALLY like the head for A but the stomach and leg armor for B. Perhaps you could combine them. The abdomen armor for A makes it seem more like he has a big belly than rock hard abs. And the silhouette for the legs aren't as dynamic as the B concept.
I assume these are characters with five different sets of armor each? I think you'd model the armor as separate from the characters, and add a physique/skin modifier to the skeleton when the time comes. This depends on the needs of your game engine. Are you planning to use biped?
you need to work on creating hard edges on that buy's armor, right now it looks like you dragged a dull pencil through mochi or something. Try to use the flatten too to create the look of hard edges on the armor, i'm sure there's a tutorial on here somewhere.
looks good man, gold should be sick didnt realize you were going for a modernish looking armor. The arms are looking sweet, I would add some of that gold armor to his waist to make his top 1/2 seem less busy

In the process of working on this bust and trying to figure out the armor, this somehow became a full character :D Im gonna be working on another piece I'll post soon while doing a paint over of my renders. Any advice or suggestions on which direction the body/armor should go are more than welcome!!!
Zbrushworkshops has one dedicated to 'Sculpting Hard Surfaces, Armor and Repetitive Patterns', and another for 'Sculpting Realistic Skin & Scales' which might come in handy for dragons. http://eat3d.com/zbrush35_character looks like it might also contain a few elements that might help when doing fantasy characters (armor,…
I love the dots in the visor, but other details seem out of place. All the scratches and noise make his armor look like its made out of something other than metal. The armor itself looks cool from a design standpoint. Show me the rainbow six stuff, I'm curious.
