Update: I've baked the normal map and applied to low poly. I've baked it at 2048 x 1024, but my browser or photo host is resizing it to 1024 x 512. Crits/comments are appreciated. :)
A recent little bit of hand painted funzies: A new area this diff only painting, but enjoying it alot! Models: 1k triangles. Textures 1 x 512 x 512 diff only.
Set the texture's X and Y address to "Clamp" in the texture properties if you don't want it to tile. The "Tiling" parameter controls how many times the image is tiled across the X axis of the screen.
@X-One yeah it'll DEFINITELY be the focus of the critique x] you do make a good point though, i'll try to make it as low poly yet impressive and presentational as possible then. Thanks!
Hello guys! I finished this model yesterday, and I would like to show to you. The character and sword together has 6.182 tris and 1 x 1024 diffuse map + 1 x 1024 opacity map. Thanks =)
yeah, I was too concern about working with limited resources and forgot the main point is making the environment looks great. It 2 x 1024 and 1 x 512, kinda old school game.
Monthly Rent (where you'll be moving to) x 4 (you may need 4 times this each month [varies depending on things like regional expenses])x 12(months) = A starting point.

I was stuck fixing something minor and life got in the way, but I finally have some vacation and therefore time to wrap this up. So I promise you will get your hands on this feature very soon!
