Plan is a good one and high resolution at 4k for a hero portfolio piece I'd want to squeeze in every pixel could possibly grab thereby hopefully capture the attention of eyeballs that actually matter which typically, at a glance what you've created is worth their time continuing too scroll through a detailed breakdown how…
Hi @Noren Thank you for your comment. You are right about the exposure of the texture, however it wasn't intentional. When I exported the cube map as static texture from the scene capture cube it somehow ended up overexposed, but i fixed it just by reducing the brightness of the texture. Thank you, that is a good catch, I…
Hello everyone! I’m excited to share my latest Unreal Engine project with you. This was my first time experimenting with ray tracing, and I’m truly amazed by the level of quality that UE5 can deliver. I hope you enjoy the results! I am hoping to focus and improve my lighting skills for my next project, does anyone know any…
Hey everyone! :) Just finished up this project created in Unreal Engine 5. This one ended up being more challenging than I initially expected, especially when it came to getting materials like snow/frost to read correctly and working with decals. In this case I went for the magic bus scene from the movie «Into The Wild» created by…
Been submersing myself in a lot of nostalgia lately for
better or worse… so at least I’ll try produce something from it. Just wanted to
do simple modeling and painting without sculpting. I may try to do some of the other characters, if I ever end
up finishing this one.
Looks like someone took screenshot and ran them through a genAI to make them "more realistic". The face look really different and the image overall inconsistent. Why do they believe wetter/shinier face are better exactly? Until now I always praised DLSS as a good usage of AI, guess that came to an end.
Hello everyone, I'm reaching out to discuss a highly technical topic today. It's about the incredibly realistic animations in the upcoming game ILL. I don’t know how many of you have seen the trailer recently, but the way the creatures look like they have actual fleshy skin and their natural posing really caught my eye.…
