Is it possible to export curves out of maya as paths that can be read into photoshop? I know the reverse to be true getting curves into maya but I want the other way round.
I can apparently do both .eps and .ai for illustrator through the Maya vector render but both files seem to create an empty file. Following a tutorial online but no luck.
Can you export to EPS? (encapsulated postcript) this is how you'd get paths out of max and into photoshop. The biggest problem I can see is that maya does not use bezier curves like photoshop. the only kind of path avaliable is NURBS.
