Is it possible to export curves out of maya as paths that can be read into photoshop? I know the reverse to be true getting curves into maya but I want the other way round.
I can apparently do both .eps and .ai for illustrator through the Maya vector render but both files seem to create an empty file. Following a tutorial online but no luck.
try to render curves out of maya into .ai or .eps for further use in illustrator, but as already mentioned above, the files come out empty. what is the trick about that? did anyone find the solution?

The biggest problem I can see is that maya does not use bezier curves like photoshop. the only kind of path avaliable is NURBS.
