This fantasy crap is really getting on my nerves. Theyre all the same. Does anyone know of any true medieval mmorpgs? They don't have to be pure, I consider lord of the rings to be a light touch of fantasy because the armors and cities are generally realistic. thanks
cant think of any off hand checked the list at mmorpg and doesnt look good low fantasy just isnt popular with the kids. they want armor with more spikes than a porcupine, swords so big that even if they were aluminum they'd weigh a ton, nuclear arrows and mages that fly around shooting fireballs out their ass.
one of the old style UO shards could work for you - although it'll appear rather dated by now. Plus there's a huge learning curve if you come from, let's say WoW. But it's one of the best open world MMOs, where you can really do whatever you want and can still manage to be successful. I'd say the closest thing to old UO…
