I've never used Blender before, though I've always been curious about it. Has anybody here used Blender and 3DS Max (I'm sure there are a few :) What does Blender offer over 3DS max in terms of modeling tools? I'm going to download and try it out, I'd just like to hear other people's opinions on how they compare.
Been UVing and retopoing in Blender for years. I'm a big fan of Blender's UV mapping and never seen a reason to move elsewhere. I also find retopo in it pretty good, but I've not tried programs such as 3Dcoat, topogun so can't compare.
