I always felt that Chrono Cross had a original look with its wonderful use of color. -

.... some of the Naruto games nailed the anime thing. Not my taste but very well done. Prince of Persia (the reboot one) was impressive too. Journey looked great as did Skyward sword. -

Okami goes along the lines of Samurai 2, and i think its prettier. Limbo goes a long the lines of Feist, and i also think it looks prettier. I know that Afro samurai game had nice painted feel to it. Valkyria Chronicles also has a nice effect. -
