Theres a bug in the current version of Unreal that cause vertices that are on the very edge pixel of the UV space to get clamped to the opposite side of the window, resulting in what looks like a garbled mess. Try giving your UVs some padding around the edge and see if that helps
Thanks! I got it working now. I deleted the Tangents and vertex color Ops in my models explorer then creating a new blank material with nothing attached and it works now. EDIT- Fix for Softimage 6 UVs not importing correctly into UDK.
try importing into another 3d app, or even back into xsi and see if tell us what the uvs look like. If so, it's an export problem like Geledonutt said.
