School exercise. Altar made to run without dynamic lighting on a psp (Well obviously can run on a ipad too) Polycount have to turn around 1000-1500 tri.
Very cool! Thanks so much for the examples. In addition, if you are using xNormal scale is sorta important. I got really bad results using Zbrush's default (crazy tiny) scale. I had to scale it up like 1000% within xNormal.
The diffuse map shown I hand drew on my drawing tablet. I'm pretty proud of how everything turned out seeing that i'm still in my first year of school. Let me know what you think. It was done with a limitation of 1000 tris for the Low Poly/Final Version.
This is what i am working on, a Messerschmidt BF 109 for the 1000 tris or less page, i still need to do more small detail work but its on its way to be finished. I plan on making an entire World War II fighter set, or at least until i get tired and move to something else :)
Thanks for the feedback guys! 6,990 tris; Cleaned up the face, any little parts on the body i missed before scrapping off 1000 tri's. Added more geo to the legs to beef them up a little. Still a few tweaks here and there but i'll look at it with fresh eyes tommorow. I kept the face higher poly at the start as it would…
