   Hi I want to make this fur into those slips and I am not sure what I should do : 1 Sculpt manually all the furs with brushes and eventually after paint them with texture or other fur? 2 Leave it smooth and just simulate some extrusions and then add the fur after with the texture normal created like crazybump or the like…

   ZBrush will have a new fur/fiber system next month, but for now method 2 would probably be the easiest (and more time-tested) method.

   Btw when I will retopologize it , I was thinking to make one single block of the whole object , like one single mesh and I and just leaving out as a secondary mesh the central plaque with the carving perhaps , I mean as a separate mesh element , or may be should I do it differently? how about the stripes and the lacings to…
