If I have a half sphere object(or something bent) and I want to make that flat how do I do that simple? For example if I want all the vertices to be at x = 0 without selecting them one by one and change the x position manually. Is that possible? If I select them all and choose x = 0 it will position all the selected…
AFAIK you can't do this directly in max. The move tool takes the barycenter of your selection as origin and offset it so you have to align your vertices on the same axis first, using the make planar or scale a 0% on the desired axis, then move the vertices to 0.
Sorry, 3Ds Max 2011. But the "Absolut Mode Transform Type-In" does not work like that? It positions the vertices from the object and the average distance again. Or am I using it wrong?
