If I have a half sphere object(or something bent) and I want to make that flat how do I do that simple?
For example if I want all the vertices to be at x = 0 without selecting them one by one and change the x position manually. Is that possible?
If I select them all and choose x = 0 it will position all the selected vertices around x = 0 with the difference that they were positioned from the beginning (average value).
Hopefully I have made myself understandable.
Thanks!

in most you can set position to absolute mode, select them all and enter 0 on the x axis.
But the "Absolut Mode Transform Type-In" does not work like that? It positions the vertices from the object and the average distance again.
Or am I using it wrong?
ah sorry that works in maya, just scale by 0 in offset mode in 1 axis, or make plannar
