mel scripting help
how would i go about generating a array of view layers, that all have a certain prefix in MEL. trying to modify a script that exports the contents of my view layers to separate files, to only work on layers that are prefixed with "XN". -

thanks was able to integrate that with the script i already got to get the results i wanted. since you were so helpful there, do you know the commands for changing the grid size and dimensions off hand, i tried to figure it out by using the script editor with echo all command on but it didn't show me anything usable to… -

thanks will have to bookmark that site, i was just trying to track the command do via the script editors preview thing, but that is a lot more helpfull. -

That "site" is already bookmarked right in yer Maya ui... Go up to yer help menu and chhose mel commnd reference -

Yup, no problem. The command is grid intuitively enough :) .
