I am currently getting artifacts along the edges of my meshes when Post Process is turned on. Here are a couple images to clarify: tried adjusting all the PP settings (Bloom, Depth of Field, etc.) But nothing seems to be working. Help would be appreciated!
froyok - I tried messing with the anti-aliasing, but am getting the same result. dougjuno - that's actually a really good idea. There is no geometry where the black is - just empty space in UDK. That might cause the artifacting. I will get a sky dome in there as soon as I can and see if it does anything. Thanks guys!
It's the FXAA ? (Post processing anti-aliasing) You can disbale/change it in the post-process chain too. :) http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/PostProcessAA.html
DoF generally causes that. The sky is far away so it gets blured a lot which causes the edge of non blured objects to bleed over. A good DoF implementation will have some way of fixing that but I have no idea what options there are in unreal.
I was getting a similar problem before when I didn't have either a sky box or some other geometry in the background. If the black background is currently geometry then I guess that's not the problem.
