Your textures are too busy, not enough form information on them and they have black in them. NEVER have black in your textures. Work with complementary colors always, that's what creates color harmony.
Looking sexy, the texture flats are fairly wasteful in places (alot of the wood and rope could be tiled to increase texture resolution or decrease texture sizes.
