Hey gents, Just finished my entry for a contest on PaperWingsPodcast, I didn't get to have the level of polish I wanted and there are plenty of issues in it, but I think I did an honest and good job on it and it actually surpassed all my expectations at the end. Seriously, what's with some of the hostility/attitudes here?! So Mavo isn't the most prolific poster with a diamond encrusted 1000+++ post count, who cares? You probably could've pulled more votes if you started a thread in P&P to show the work in progress, something to keep in mind for future contests :) -

Looks like it's closed or I'm not seeing what others are. It's a shame when competitions are open to outside votes and it becomes about popularity rather than skill. Reminds me of those 'battle of the bands' things when everyone invites all their friends and even family if possible to watch them play crap music, and after…
