Hey guys I wonder How to keep my Spec and Normal when baking the lighting with light mass in UDK... When i Bake everything my Spec ans Normals becomes not dynamic anymore or seam to disapear in the editor. is it possible to keep them even with lightmap baked? tanks
Try bumping this thread with some screenshots of before and after baking lights, that might help diagnose the problem and get others to post their ideas (people like pictures). By "not dynamic" do you mean that there is no spec and normal at all? or that there is still spec and normal but they don't react to dynamic…
I remember reading something about specular not working with vertex based light maps. Do you have the Light Map Resolution for your static meshes set to something higher than 0? A resolution of 0 would force them to use per vertex light maps rather than pixel based light maps.
