Modular Wall Piece
Start of a wall set I am modeling for an environment in UDK. This is looking pretty plain, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how to spruce this thing up a bit, or if there are any parts that I should get rid of or replace? Thanks for your time everyone! -

Nice modelling dude. Like the others have suggested, search the net for some wicked concept and use that as your reference if you have trouble drawing.. Looking forward too seeing your progress. :) -

I guess that is my big fault, I kinda just dove into starting a wall set without reference, which is not a good method, due to the fact i don't have any real direction or style guide... stupid me:), but ill choose a theme, reference, start over, and repost, then people will know what the hell I'm actually going for...lol -

Not quite sure what look or theme your going for. When I look at it I think of a grungy industrial settings (mainly the vents and bricks). Some of the shapes conflict here and there, the larger shapes I mean. Thematically I wouldn't create a large clash of shapes, big ones specifically. Smaller ones don't matter. There's… -

first, you should probably move the extruding bricks on one side up or down so they are staggered with the bricks on the opposite side. If you were to put two of those props next to each other, the bricks would go into each other and wouldn't look right. To me, this prop looks like a door, but it isn't. I don't know what…
