Hey guys. I wrote up a tutorial on a shader I wrote over the weekend. Using a single vertex color, I found a way to paint various shades to set the scale of a texture. It's helped me modulate parts of my ground texture, so hopefully it will be use to someone else. Check it out HERE.
@Ace angel:I think your limited to 2 color channels max. You could duplicate the chain and be able to control U and V independently. I don't think using the Full RGB channel would have an advantage over using one specific channel since we're just looking for a gray scale range.
You're fucking ACE man! I wasn't able to figure out how to marry the Range Checks at the final part, thank you very much for this! Can this be pronged with a full set of Vertex Blend on the RGB?
